PROJECT TEXT: This mobile exhibition structure makes extensive use of the PRO/con system developed by J,P:A to create reconfigurable layouts of small meeting rooms and larger presentation and exhibition spaces for the tradeshow and convention operations of the premier US crane manufacturer. This container-based structure takes advantage of the natural affinity between the exhibition subject matter and the venue, so that the erection of the pavilion becomes itself an educational (and entertaining!) demonstration of the capabilities of the manufacturer’s cranes. J,P:A produced a number of possible layouts to show the flexibility of the pavilion design; necessary because the variety of convention and tradeshow sites, both large and small, that are regularly visited by the manufacturer.
